Job Description

KITH is seeking an Associate Designer, Women's to join the design team full-time.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Update sketches and respective line sheets as necessary
  • Help execute tasks/projects with critical attention to detail and a sense of urgency to meet all department deadlines
  • Actively take notes in all internal meetings
  • Support designers in building tech packs in Illustrator across all product categories
  • Supports design team with approvals and design comments
  • Communicate daily with overseas and internal partners on updates within the assortment
  • Execute trim development and artwork development across all product categories seasonally


Special Projects/Tasks:

  • Support designers, when requested, with market research to support details and finishings across product categories
  • Manage and organize sample storage closet and rails
  • Attend weekly design meetings
  • Attend all fittings


Experience:

  • Quick and strong Illustrator skills
  • Must be comfortable working on all product categories: wovens, knits, sweaters, active, swim, lounge, and intimates
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction & fabrics
  • 2- 4 years of experience working in the apparel industry


Skills:

  • Must be flexible to meet the demands of deadlines.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects
  • Good organizational, time management, and communication
  • Exceptionally high taste level
