Associate Creative Director, Social Media

Advanced Systems Group LLC provides onsite managed services for a prominent global tech company based in Mountain View, California. We are searching for an Associate Creative Director of Social Media to join our team!

The Associate Creative Director of Social Media is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that align with our overall marketing goals. This includes creating and managing social media campaigns, creating branded campaign visuals, and managing and reviewing the output of visual and motion designers. The Associate Creative Director of Social Media will also engage with the Social team to review engagement reports and analytics.

This is a remote full-time position in the United States that adheres to Pacific Standard Time.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Operations to build and iterate upon processes to improve design project intake, tracking, delivery, quality control, and data analysis.
• Ensure projects are allocated across resources to improve efficiency.
• Check in with stakeholders on the general direction of the project during regular milestone meetings and work with operations to set clear boundaries for scope changes based on the revision process and timeline allowed.
• Stay up-to-date on social media trends and best practices, including maintaining an online presence on various platforms, attending industry conferences, reading industry publications, and following and observing social media influencers
• Track social media analytics and report on results, including measuring reach, engagement, and website traffic, and shift design strategies accordingly
• Be the primary escalation point for designers on issues such as scope creep, timeline changes, and branding deviations.
• Develop large scale social campaigns covering a wide array of deliverables, in partnership with Social Media Managers and clients across several product areas.
• Develop content for social media platforms, including blog posts, articles, videos, and infographics
• Develop and execute social media strategies that align with the company's overall marketing goals
• Attend regular operational meetings with Design’s Creative Direction and Operations Managers to discuss high level, forward looking strategy, and resolve escalated issues.
• Attend and/or lead cross-functional programs meetings and champion relevant initiatives.
• Manage and collaborate with a team of visual, motion, and brand designers, and maintain a high standard of work through creative reviews and mentorship.

Qualifications:

• Attention to detail
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and how to use them effectively
• Strong analytical skills
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in social media marketing and brand design
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
