ABOUT THE ROLE

The Social Media Intern will support our marketing team in implementing social media strategies across various platforms. You will help create engaging content, monitor social media channels, and assist with community management duties. This role offers invaluable professional experience in social media marketing within a supportive and collaborative environment

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Assist in creating and implementing social media marketing strategies and tactics.
• Keep up with industry trends and relevant social media news.
• Maintain a monthly social media calendar.
• Assist in the organization and management of marketing events.
• Conduct social media audits to ensure best practices are being used.
• Monitor and manage company's social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, Threads and LinkedIn.
• Analyze social media metrics to gauge the success of campaigns.
• Engage with our online community by responding to comments and DMs.
• Develop original, engaging content for various social media platforms.

WHAT YOU HAVE:

• Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience with social media management tools is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Passionate about the beauty industry.
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
• Understanding of social media metrics; able to interpret the results and take action to increase effectiveness of social media campaigns.
• Must have a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn.
