Social Media Producer Jobs

And Company is looking for an experienced Social Producer to join our growing Social team. The role of the Social Producer is to oversee and manage creative production and assist the Social team. They are primarily responsible for the management of creative assets for social media campaigns for clients, as well as working with internal team members to build, plan and execute high volume content calendars, ensuring the development of excellent creative social content, intake and organization of assets, and maintaining and improving internal processes.

The position is also to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget, with the highest degree of quality. You are familiar with social media, social specs, and the intricacies of each platform. You enjoy a nicely organized spreadsheet and to-do list and have a keen eye for detail. The position is full-time, in house and reports to the Director of Social.

Social Producer Primary Responsibilities

· Managing content production and establishing and communicating timelines for deliverables to cross-functional team members.

· Efficiently and effectively relaying information (e.g. client notes) and creative assets in a timely manner.

· Overseeing and participating in quality assurance on all outgoing deliverables.

· Creating and monitoring schedules to ensure timely, accurate and complete campaign execution.

· Coordinating with Strategists, Managers, Copywriters, Art Directors, and other team members to execute campaign concepts and responsibilities.

· Staying up-to-date with social platform and digital technology trends and capabilities.

· Manage client process docs and guidelines to ensure accuracy and consistency in deliverables.

· Oversee, mentor and train other team members to ensure consistency in process and deliverables.

Additional Social Producer Responsibilities

· Onboarding social freelancers

· Participate in client status calls

· Involvement in creative concepting and strategy as necessary

· Provide coverage as needed

Qualification Requirements

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform the duties with consistent professionalism, confidence and excellence. The environment is fast-paced and deadline-oriented and the ability to prioritize with an acute attention to detail is essential. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge and skills necessary:

· Proven work experience (1-2 years) as a social producer for entertainment properties

· A strong working knowledge of what is involved in the creation of social media campaigns

· Experience launching multiple types of creative on social channels, including knowledge of social specs and types by platform

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to manage diverse and creative personalities

· Strong familiarity with social platforms

· Attention to detail and ability to multitask under deadline

· Good judgment -- able to come up with solid solutions and recommendations

· Must be able to prioritize and organize workload for self and for other team members

· Team player with a positive, can do spirit

· College degree preferred

Education and Training

A bachelor’s degree is preferred, plus one-two years related experience in a social, preferably entertainment, production environment (either the client side or agency side). Computer experience necessary includes a basic understanding of common tools and techniques and an advanced understanding of MS Office, G-Suite.
