Job description

THE ROLE

Korn Ferry’s CEO Impact Accelerator (CEOIA) guides CEOs and C-Suite Executives through a strategic process that will help them successfully navigate their evolving role, balancing the need to perform for today and transform for tomorrow. It enables CEOs to accelerate personal, enterprise and societal impact. This is done in real time during critical points in their career – helping CEOs/C-Suite Executives define their personal brand, build high-performing cultures, transform organizations and strengthen relationships with stakeholders to deliver differentiated outcomes and sustainable success.

The CEOIA leverages the breadth of Korn Ferry’s consulting capabilities in a bespoke and tailored solution designed to meet the specific needs of a client at a given point in time, by providing flexibility and agility in delivering advice and counsel across our suite of services.

As an Associate Partner you will work closely with colleagues in the leading and managing of complex, custom and multi work-stream solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. As a seasoned professionals capable of conversing confidently and fluidly with executive level clients on all of their business issues, you will be harnessing the full power of the One Korn Ferry enterprise and our offerings to co-create effective and profitable solutions.

KEY RESPONISBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABLITIES
  • Partner with colleagues and clients to develop thought leadership and/or research. Leverage insights to define, recommend and /or co-create strategic solutions for clients.
  • Maintain an appropriate mix of repeat and new business, proactively leveraging relationships to gain entry into new and grow existing accounts. Position KF in the marketplace through contributions to offerings/thought capital development and generating market awareness.
  • Develop and manage own sales pipeline to be successful in driving revenue growth
  • May manage colleagues of all levels/expertise areas and from different offices/countries to deliver client work. Actively seek opportunities to support the professional development of colleagues.
  • Create materials and other IP as necessary with varying levels of ambiguity to meet the needs of the client – high PowerPoint Proficiency required.
  • Set standards for and manage account team performance to manage client expectations and enhance satisfaction and ongoing client relationships.
  • Continue to deepen and broaden own consulting skills, business understanding and expertise to enable an expanded viewpoint on issues impacting our clients.
  • Develop profitable business with key clients through effective client relationship building, account team leadership, and impactful collaboration with colleagues across the KF enterprise. Business development is done both internally with strategic sellers and account leads, as well as directly with clients. Both are critical.
  • Possess/ability to develop exceptional depth and breadth across all Korn Ferry Advisory offerings, view business issues from multiple expertise angles and leverage deep expertise to offer commercial propositions and solutions that integrate across the business and involve inter-practice approaches not obvious to others.
  • Develop a strong internal and external brand and leverage network to expand the CEOIA business; participate as a cooperative and proactive team member.
  • Lead and expand existing portfolio of client relationships; ensure project members are sufficiently enabled to meet client expectations. Lead the assessment and measurement of the impact of our work on our client’s business.


PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS

  • Able to effectively thrive, quickly adapt to change, and navigate within a matrixed corporate environment.
  • An exceptional motivational communicator both one-on-one with clients and within a dynamic team environment.
  • 12+ years’ experience in a consultancy/professional services firm in progressively larger and more complex/high impact client situations
  • Track record of helping clients develop and implement business and leader transformation roadmaps with a strong emphasis on business strategy development and operations to human capital and all aspects of executive development and results-oriented leader impact, and culture change required to improve individual and organizational performance
  • A well-developed results-oriented philosophy and work ethic; the ability to “get things done” while thinking strategically and leading a cross-functional project team.
  • Strong “outside-in” orientation, driving the development of industry-specific or client-specific products and services to meet emerging business needs, leveraging practice and industry experts in alignment with global CEOIA business goals.
  • Flexible, responsive, and ability to work in a geographically dispersed virtual and in person environment.
  • An inclusive collaborator with strong influence skills and a demonstrated ability to build rapport quickly and develop and maintain strong partnerships with clients and across an organization.
  • Strong client management and selling capabilities; track record of growing relationships with current clients and contributing to acquisition of new clients


EDUCATION

  • Bachelors degree required, masters preferred
