Position Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Teaching Professor to join our Online Master of Social Work Program at the Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics. This is a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure-track position starting in January 2024, with the possibility of renewal based on program needs and exceptional instructor performance.

You'll be responsible for teaching and developing online graduate-level courses, equipping our students with the knowledge and skills needed to make a difference in the lives of individuals, families, and communities.
Who We're Looking For
Required: Master of Social Work (MSW)
Preferred: Doctorate degree
Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse student groups and community members.
Experience in online curriculum development and instruction is highly desirable.
Candidates hired to teach Practice Courses must have professional post-masters social work practice consistent with CSWE standards.
Your Responsibilities
Teach four courses in the fall, spring, and summer semesters, fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
Mentor and advise graduate students, guiding them on their educational journey.
Collaborate with the department to maintain, develop, and assess the curriculum to ensure the highest quality education for our students.
Engage in departmental, college, university, professional, and community service activities, actively contributing to our academic community.
