Job Description
General Description This position will be located at the WCJC Wharton Campus. The Assistant Student Records Officer is the front-line college representative responsible for the registration and record keeping of continuing and returning students. The Assistant Officer is also responsible for the processing of in-person and/or electronically-submitted registration requests. Position is responsible for answering general questions pertaining to WCJC and specific questions relating to student records and registration. In addition, the position processes drops, adds, withdrawals, and transcript requests. This position also serves to manage any in-person payments, as needed. Requirements Associate Degree or sixty credit hours from an accredited college, or two years of equivalent office work experience required. Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills required. This position requires the ability to be able to provide exceptional customer service to current and future students, visitors, staff, and administration and meet expectations and objectives within a specified time frame. Experience with Banner student information system highly recommended. Official transcript required to support Associate Degree and/or credit hours. Criminal background check required.
