The Area Manager oversees multiple parking lots within the Levi’s Stadium Parking Footprint.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Instructs and trains employees in the performance of their duties and in the proper use of equipment.
- Ensures all employee breaks are taken and all work rules enforced.
- Trains and educates new employees on work roles.
- Manages Supervisors, Cashiers and Flaggers covering multiple sites on event days.
- Ensures all cashiers are following the proper cash handling procedures.
- With Human Resources manages all employee disciplinary processes.
- Manages technology deployment and the ability to trouble shoot units as issues occur.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Site walks each parking lot prior to and post-event to ensure conditions are in line with the operating plan of the lot.
- Reviews post-event payroll to ensure proper payroll is recorded and paid out.
- Ensures all employees are using the timekeeping system correctly.
- Initiates, plans, and schedules the work, activities and resources of crews or employees.
- Evaluates the work, activities and work resources of crews or employees in the assigned zone.
- Enforces departmental policies, procedures and safety rules and regulations.
- Coordinates work between supervisors, flaggers, and cashiers to ensure arrival and departure efficiencies across the entire zone.
- Monitors capabilities of the assigned staff.
Required Abilities and Skills:
- Communicates orally and in writing in a clear, concise and impartial manner.
- Creative and innovative; the ability to see alternatives and solutions.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively, while balancing and prioritizing multiple or competing tasks.
- Ability to achieve planned objectives through completing relevant tasks and focus.
- Understands the most effective and efficient way to accomplish tasks within the parameters of organizational hierarchy, processes, systems, timelines, and budget.
Education and Experience:
- High school degree or equivalent degree and 0-2 year’s of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The employee will be standing in an indoor/outdoor facility the majority of the time and may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
The employee is frequently required to stand, walk and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
This position requires the ability to work extended hours and/or weekends.

Compensation:
$35.00/hr
