Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Warehouse Manager in our San Diego, CA. Branch 0667 Blended branch.

The Facility

• Assist Senior Warehouse Manager in the Management of either the AM or PM Operations of a WMS Ship Hub warehouse staffed with 13 Drivers, 28 Warehouse Associates and 3 Managers
• Direct oversight of 12+ associates
• 55,000 sq. ft
• WMS environment
• AM/PM shift operation: will oversee associates whose shift starts between 3AM- 12PM(AM Operations) or 11AM to 7PM(PM Operations)

Responsibilities

• Maintain associate engagement throughout the warehouse
• Maintain security of warehouse and safety of all associates and equipment, reporting any accidents and conveying any issues to management
• Lead and coordinate associates performing activities including unloading and stocking of inbound shipments, order selection and
• Provide strategic leadership for our Blended Ship-Hub WMS Warehouse
• Drive high levels of inventory integrity within the building
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained in our sites
• Maintain and develop a productive warehouse by hiring, training and providing professional development for all of its associates
• Continue to increase quality in customer deliveries
• Ensure integrity of inventory and confirm that cycle counts are completed daily and accurately
• Shipping of outbound orders, cycle counting, and final mile delivery services to our customers
• Promote and drive safety daily in the workplace, crafting a safe work environment for associates
• Provide consistent communication to associates and counterparts

Qualifications

• Proficient in OSHA and DOT regulations
• Previous experience working in a WMS environment is required
• Ability to work with people and build an environment that is positive and engaging for the associates
• Excellent interactive communication skills with ability to effectively communicate to different levels of the organization
• Material Handling Equipment Certification
• A strong background in Warehouse Operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is required
• Strong computer skills to include expertise in High-Jump, Dispatch Track, Mercury Gate, Microsoft Teams, Workday, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
• Experience managing a team of delivery drivers is a plus
• 3+ years' experience in WMS management supervising 12+ employees in a ship-hub/warehouse environment
• Must have leadership experience in leading and developing a team, mentoring, coaching, training, and performance management

Pay Range:

$4,537.80 - $9,982.50

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
