Job Description

As the Accounting Manager, you will manage the financial close, internal controls over financial reporting, and financial audit. Your responsibilities will include:



Responsibilities

  • Manage internal and 3rd party data feeds, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Oversee 3rd party accounting vendor that completes monthly and quarterly financial close
  • Build accounting workflow to support a fast-growing business
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, and pro forma


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in entertainment, public accounting, audit, or equivalent
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills
  • Familiar with accounting systems and comfortable with using technology
  • Expert knowledge of GAAP accounting standards, accounting processes, and financial reporting
  • Effective at presenting financial information, both in presentations, in writing, and through meetings
  • Comfortable leading at an early stage company
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Prior accounting manager experience preferred
