Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

Help desk team leaders oversee a team to maintain an excellent delivery of service related to computer hardware, telephony and software problems.

• Understand and assist in compliance with software license requirements
• Contribute to management meetings as required
• Manage team of service desk calls, response times and customer satisfaction
• Offer hardware and software support as necessary
• Manage the help desk ticketing system

Responsibilities:

• Managing escalations and ensuring any issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Monitoring team performance and developing feedback reports for management.
• Making recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
• Mentoring your team, providing training, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Managing and supporting a team of help desk technicians.
• Communicating with users and providing in-person and phone support, if required.

Talent Requirements and Skills:

• Strong technical background.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• At least two years of experience as a Help Desk Manager or in a technical support role.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science a plus, information technology, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
