Senior System Administrator Jobs

BRIEF DESCRIPTION
(Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000)

The Senior System Administrator assists BluSky’s growing technology team in moving forward our cloud-first technology ecosystem delivering solutions with SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS. This position will report to the IT Director of Operations and Services and work with business stakeholders, external vendors, and consultants to plan and execute operational and project-based work. In addition, this individual will function as a solution engineer working with IT’s portfolio of services to design, develop and deliver solutions for the organization.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides technical leadership and oversight for our Microsoft cloud services by defining standards and best practices.
• Engineers solutions with vendor partners and systems to support rapid grow.
• Works closely with business stakeholders and project management to define project requirements and implement solutions.
• Owns and manages the Azure AD/Office365 ecosystem and integrated applications and services.
• Designs, builds, and tests scalable cloud environments for hosting and delivering services for hosting, microservices, and databases.
• Tier 3 escalation point for helpdesk incidents.
• Discovers, scopes, and delivers integration infrastructure and services from acquisitions.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working with Azure AD/AWS preferred.
• Ability to multitask, manage time, and shift focus based on changing priorities.
• Strong technical skills in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and other related Microsoft technologies
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 5+ years project management experience in an IT or software environment
• Experience working in high growth acquisitive companies.
• Bachelor’s Degree (MIS or Computer Science) or equivalent IT work experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
