As a Oracle Database Administrator you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a DATABASE ADMINSITRATOR joining our team to perform Oracle and/or other customer-selected database administration activities.

This position is 95% percent telework where you only need to go in to complete cleared work.

Oracle Developer

• Executes trial runs of software applications, reviews programs, and performs system analysis. Interacts with business teams to clarify requirements and business needs.
• Collaborates with other developers, architects, and quality assurance teams to determine optimal solution architecture, efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.
• Troubleshoots, corrects errors in programs, and optimizes code to ensure performance and security requirements.
• Develops, modifies, and tests the codes, scripts, and forms that allow a system to run different types of applications.
• Implements the data model that the required applications require, the rules for data integrity, and the specified functions for accessing and manipulating the application data.
• Writes complex queries, stored procedures, software packages, and triggers.
• Designs, develops, and delivers database components of software applications using PL/SQL and other Oracle tools and technology, and troubleshoots any problems with them.
• Ensures the databases are accessible to all users and ensures the databases can store the information that is put into the computer.
• Prepares and maintains documents, code documentation, workflow charts, and diagrams as needed to describe the program's intended functionality, the data flow, the logic used, and any significant considerations made.

Technical Requirements:

• Experience in database backup and recovery strategies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's or Masters degree in relevant technical field
• Expert knowledge of database administration and management for Oracle 12c & 19c
• Experience with Oracle CDB (Container Database) and PDB (Pluggable Database)
• Experience with Oracle database upgrades and patching
• Hands On Experience with Transparent Data Encryption (TDE)
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for database deployment and management
• Experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)
• Experience in Integration between Oracle Database and External KeyManager (ex. Oracle Key Manager, Thales CipherTrust Manager, etc.)
• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication
• 8+ years of experience in Oracle database administration
• Experience with Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery
• Experience with Oracle Exadata engineered systems
