Our client, a full-service medical device consulting firm, seeks to hire an Attorney with Medical Device Regulatory experience to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with entrepreneurial potential to take their career in a different direction and work with industry leaders, including former FDA experts, in an environment with great work/life balance. This is a fully remote role.
Responsibilities:
- Provide training on compliance program and business ethics, both internally and externally
- Create both strategic and tactical compliance recommendations
- Serve as healthcare compliance and ethics subject matter expert on client projects
- Serve as Compliance and/or Privacy Officer to clients as needed
- Provide compliance program development
- Develop and implement compliance and privacy policies & procedures
- Stay abreast of current trends in healthcare compliance with continuing education
- Act as a valuable member of project teams to solve complex compliance challenges and offer clients novel solutions and ideas
- Participate in business development calls and related meetings as needed
- Contribute compliance expertise to business development efforts for new and existing clients, including conceptualizing of project scope from initiation to client delivery
- Conduct audits & investigations
- Provide expert-level consulting, sanction screening, patient privacy, conflict of interest management
- Provide consulting/advising to client companies, which may include the preparation of written deliverables, assessments, and analyses
Qualifications:
- 3-10 years RECENT LAW FIRM EXPERIENCE
- Comprehensive understanding of the appropriate compliance policies, regulations, HIPAA, etc. related to the healthcare and medical technology industries
- Experience working directly in medical device compliance
- Project management experience that includes interacting with and presenting to both internal and external stake holders
- Strong interpersonal skills that translate into positive relationships with colleagues and clients
- Juris Doctor
- Ability to solve complex compliance issues and provide expertise in a timely and appropriate manner with minimal management oversight
- Experience with managing client relationships
Base salary is in the range of $220K to $250K depending on experience, with bonus potential up to 25% depending on performance.
