*Assist with building out finance operations, processes and best practices

*Reporting to the VP Financial Planning & Analysis

· Act as liaison with IT, Mailroom, Facilities and Hearst Tower personnel (Security, Property Management, etc)

· Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the Marketing organization and support senior team members

Significant experience and relationships within the institutional investor (Private Equity & Venture Capital) ecosystem.

Senior-level experience in Private Equity and Venture Capital.

Extensive experience in building and managing successful consulting sales teams.

New Client Business Development: Lead generation, proposal development, negotiation support, and closing new consulting clients for SMG.

4+ years of public accounting or public + private industry experience

Strong ERP system (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Great Plains, NetSuite) and Excel skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with board members and internal team members

Manage strategic technical accounting advisory engagements for Fortune 500 clients

Bachelor’s in Accounting, or related field

CPA, Master’s, or MBA highly beneficial

Strong time management and organizational skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Has experience working with government agencies, CBOs, and/or non-profits

Subject matter expertise in public health, criminal justice, mental health, substance use, early childhood, education or related area(s).
