Summary You will serve as a ACQUISITION PROGRAM SPECIALIST in the COMMAND OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT, ACQUISITION/PROCUREMENT DIVISION of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST. Responsibilities You will develop and present briefings and training sessions. You will develop procurement packages. You will write clear and concise procurement documents. You will establish work flow methods and procedures. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: Drafting program briefs, point papers and talking points for flag level officer discussions; Perform technical review of contract requirement packages to assure adherence to acquisition regulations and policy; Ensuring efficient and effective program accomplishment by monitoring and accepting work, reviewing requests for waivers, and interpreting contract requirements; Analyzing and evaluating cost or pricing data elements to determine price reasonableness; and Assisting with development of acquisition strategy plans to ensure fulfillment requirements, fiscal adequacy, and planned progress Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
