Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist


iR Talent is currently seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to join our Minneapolis, MN team! OVERVIEW:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for attracting and maintaining a pool of qualified candidates, interviewing, screening, and reviewing resumes, in order to fill job orders and meet client demand. Working in conjunction with the Account Managers, and Delivery Team the individual responsibilities will focus on recruiting and fulfilling orders for technical positions along with occasional high-level professional roles.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities potentially include but are not limited to working with the potential candidates and hiring managers to understand customer hiring processes, procedures and policies.


Success will be highly impacted by the ability to develop working relationships with peers, candidates, managers, and clients.

Networking to build strong lasting relationships within the Austin market and beyond.

Must understand the importance of being a true team player.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

1+ years of technical recruiting experience for both contract and direct hire roles

Experience recruiting a variety of IT roles within the SDLC is highly preferred.

Possess, Develop, and maintain a candidate base and pool of qualified candidates through senior management levels through a planned, proactive resourcing approach to current and prospective clients. Has industry relationships with professional levels and multiple networking groups.


Ability to recruit active and passive highly technical candidates through various methods: recruiting database, networking, referrals, internet, social networking, user groups, search techniques, industry and university contacts, relationships at professional levels, and multiple managers and multiple networking groups.


Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and decision-making skills are required. Individuals must be able to function independently/autonomously yet know when to get management involved.


Proficiency with computers including navigating online and using Word, Excel, and Outlook.


EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
