We are seeking a Staff Accountant within the Revenue Accounting team to be primarily responsible for recording and reconciling passenger revenue and related expenses as well as other direct and indirect revenue related functions. The functions and tasks are to be performed accurately and efficiently, with continuous improvement through process automation and enhancements. This role works in conjunction with other teams within CCL Finance, Revenue Management and other departments as necessary.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Support the preparation of standard monthly as well as ad-hoc reports as required
- Support in the completion of variance analysis performed on relevant balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Assists and supports budgeting team and tax team with their requests that pertain to Revenue Accounting Operations
- Other related functions and tasks as assigned
- Preparation of payment requests for designation vendors
- Monthly preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Interact with outside financial auditors and respond to requests in a timely manner
- Monthly preparation of recurring and adjusting journal entries
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels to maximize results
- Ability to use creative approaches to challenges
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Analytical and Auditing skills
- 2+ years of experience working in finance or accounting capacity with some full cycle accounting experience
- Understands concepts, practices and procedures of accounting
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and with a team
- Excellent written and communication skills
- CPA/CPA candidate preferred
- Solid understanding of GAAP and the ability to apply the concepts to specific situations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Oracle R12; Hyperion Interactive Reporting; Essbase; Tableau Reporting
- Must have strong command of Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to prioritize workloads and meet tight deadlines
- Skilled in research and problem solving

The range for this role’s base salary is $50,000 - $65,000. Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
