Accountant Jobs

Seeking Accountant for a top fashion company in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. This role is fully remote with the expectation of 40 hours worked per week. This is a contract role with the possibility for extension.

Responsibilities:

• Represent finance in development, testing and implementation of functional changes related to enhancements on the front end and backend order management system as it relates to sales accounting
• Understand business processes while providing input in development, testing and implementation of programming changes
• Create and execute test scenarios and test scripts
• Assist with organization of strategy in user acceptance testing and troubleshooting for all new functionality; manage and lead prioritization of testing defects for the project for proper tracking, resolution and implementation
• Support cross-functional agile project team (Finance, MGT, Marketing, Web team, and Customer Call Center) through work sessions to best determine the design and functional scope/requirements of projects
• Ensure completeness in validation
• Partner with cross functional teams to strategize and execute testing, influence decision making when resolving defects and defining business and functional requirements.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related degree
• 2-3 years accounting experience
• Operational experience in a Direct-to-Consumer order management environment preferred
• May have advanced degree/CPA
