Providence is calling an Accountant who will:

• Support other functions necessary to complete the monthly financial reporting required for all entities within Providence Health Plan
• Be responsible for preparing journal entries, preparing general account reconciliations and account analysis

We welcome 100% remote work for residents who live in the States of Oregon and Washington.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Manages own workload to meet deadlines
• Support AP process
• Support close and allocation process

Required qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or another related field of study -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
• 4 years of related work experience

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• Experience with computerized financial applications and Microsoft office applications
• 1 year experience in accounting or finance
• Experience in Health Care Industry
• Experience preparing journal entries and reconciling account balances
• Experience in Access software
