Job Summary:

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive accounting support across various functions. Your expertise will contribute to timely and accurate financial information, empowering key business decisions. Working closely with our Accounting Manager and Corporate Accounting Controller you will actively participate in the daily operations of the accounting department.

Responsibilities:

• Create and enter monthly journal entries to maintain accurate financial records
• Provide cross-training and support as needed within the team
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in accounting processes
• Maintain work instructions and procedures for all tasks
• Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Engage in special projects assigned by management to support business objectives
• Prepare information and reports requested by auditors
• Perform month-end close procedures, prepare month-end reports, and conduct various account reconciliations

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data compilation and presentation
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to meeting deadlines
• Preferred experience with Oracle software
• Ability to multitask, be proactive, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, organizational, and written skills
• Experience with maintaining general ledger and exposure to large-scale ERP systems
• A dedicated team player with a passion for learning and professional growth
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, demonstrating a strong foundation in accounting principles
• 5-7 years of accounting experience, including reconciliation and analysis
