The Account Manager will manage all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers for our Honeywell PPE organization. You will build relationships and understand customer business to provide appropriate products or solutions. You will define sales and growth strategy toward key customers while aligning with critical sales business objectives. You will identify opportunities and build credibility with customers and utilize your product knowledge to deliver the value proposition to the customers.
This role covers Southern Virginia (Norfolk/Virginia Beach) and North Carolina east of Charlotte and candidate must live within this area.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers for our PPE safety product line including respiratory, fall protection, eye, face, head, hearing, hand, first aid and eyewash products
  • Build relationships and understand customer business to provide appropriate products and solutions
  • Drive continuous improvement
  • Identify opportunities and build credibility with clients
  • Manage existing book of business to meet or exceed assigned sales quota
  • Develop and maximize Honeywell presence and market share in designated accounts and territory
  • Articulate and deliver value proposition
  • Negotiate and close
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Customer facing outside sales experience
WE VALUE
  • Preferred experience is sales of PPE (respiratory, face shields, fall protectors)
  • Significant experience in a Sales/Account Management related field
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment
  • Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization
