Overview Employee Benefits Investigators are responsible for conducting investigations into employee benefit claims. They review and analyze employee benefit claims and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. They also investigate potential fraud and abuse of employee benefits. Detailed Job Description Employee Benefits Investigators are responsible for conducting investigations into employee benefit claims. They review and analyze employee benefit claims and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. They also investigate potential fraud and abuse of employee benefits. They may also be responsible for conducting interviews with claimants, employers, and other parties involved in the claim. They must be able to identify discrepancies in the claims and documents and take appropriate action. Job Skills Required• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Previous experience in a related field
• Certification in a related field (e.g. Certified Employee Benefits Investigator)

• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Knowledge of employee benefit programs
• Knowledge of investigative techniques
• Knowledge of computer systems and software
Job Experience
• Previous experience in a related field
• Previous experience conducting investigations
• Previous experience in a customer service role
Job Responsibilities
• Review and analyze employee benefit claims and documents
• Investigate potential fraud and abuse of employee benefits
• Identify discrepancies in the claims and documents
• Conduct interviews with claimants, employers, and other parties involved in the claim
• Prepare reports and recommendations based on investigations
• Maintain accurate records of investigations
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
