Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW: The Florida Business Operations Department is seeking a dynamic, self-starter, who would be responsible for actively selling Spring training season tickets, group tickets, pre-game hospitality packages and other ticketed and event related products as needed at JetBlue Park. Incumbent will establish strong and lasting relationships with accounts through outbound phone calls, in-park meetings and out of office visits.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Assist in executing pre-game assets for the group sales
  • Renew and service all group accounts and work to establish and maintain strong relationships with all group contacts
  • Encourage customers to upgrade their plans and/or add seats to their accounts when purchase patterns indicate a potential benefit to the customer
  • Enhance existing and creates new group sales events to maximize ticket sales and revenue
  • Develop and grow theme games
  • Handle all questions, requests, problems and concerns from group inquiries and sales
  • Review account information on the ticketing system to make sure it is up-to-date, accurate and complete
  • Conduct client and prospect visits during home games
  • Develop new leads through cold calling, networking events, utilization of Salesforce tools, social selling, and referrals from current customers
  • Coordinate and execute a minimum of 40 sales activities per day


CHARACTERISTICS/QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Experience with ProVenue, Salesforce, Canva Is preferred but not required
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and quotas
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel required
  • A minimum of two (2) years of work experience in sales, preferably in a sports/event setting
  • Strong customer service, communication, time management and organizational skills
