Paving Tomorrow is a grassroots organization committed to creating a community for young progressives that are interested in creating change. We will be a safe space for those interested in politics and social change to collaborate and develop as progressive individuals, with an emphasis on long-term work and lifetime involvement in leftist spheres. We provide progressive education, professional development, and the opportunity to take direct action on issues. Come join our youth-led and youth-run organization to make a difference and build youth power in progressive politics.

We are currently looking for fellows to join the organization. As a fellow, you will be committing to 3-4 hours a week, from February through early November. Some of this time will be spent engaging with organizational-wide education and discussion regarding progressive and leftist issues.

Additionally, you will work with one of the following departments to gain professional experience.

Communications – general public work, primarily focused on running various social media platforms

Education – developing educational material for internal distribution

Operational outreach – curating partnerships with other organizations and campaigns

Finance – carrying out fundraising and budget making

Lastly, you will work with one of the three coalitions (reproductive justice, racial justice, or civic justice) to take direct action regarding that specific issue.

We are looking for motivated leaders who aspire towards impacting progressive change on a large-scale and are looking to get involved more in progressive spheres.

We are currently a volunteer-run organization, so the fellowship is currently unpaid. However, letters of recommendation can be provided and coordination with colleges and universities for course credit can be pursued if applicable.
