Relevant work experience should include calibration, maintenance and repair of complex electronic and mechanical control systems

Submit drawings to management, engineering teams and customers for review.

Create technical proposals (solution and timelines) based on requirements.

Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

Review and interpret customer documentation, conduct appropriate research, analysis and experiments with minimal direction from senior staff.

Prepare calculations on the proposed solution before completing technical drawings

Create designs in line with company procedure, regulations and client standards

Position requires strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience with IR spectroscopy Experience running and operating laser systems Preferred:

PhD degree working in technical field

Ability to obtain and/or maintain a secret level security clearance

Previous optical network integration experience, service provider experience is desired

Experience with designing and updating Cisco optical networks using Cisco design tool CTP

5-8+ years’ direct experience in Lidar system design, development, and implementation for remote sensing applications (including years of post-doctoral study)

Ability to present technical concepts and designs to Senior Management and customers.

Must demonstrate proficiency and knowledge in Lidar theory, atmospheric measurements, design, building, testing, analysis, and evaluation of optical systems.

Required: High school diploma with at 1-2 years experience in relevant electrical and/or mechanical role

Practical attitude and ability to learn new skills and tasks

Strong electrical (AC/DC, 3-Phase) and mechanical skills

Knowledge of wiring diagrams and electrical measuring

Mandatory overtime may be required due to operational requirements

Compliance experience with ESD, Security, Occupational, Health, and Environmental safety requirements

Minimum 5 years of related technical experience in electrical/electronics, electro-mechanical, or industrial maintenance

Experience with component repair and motor and sensor uninstall and reinstall

Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and PLC ladder logic

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience coding in at least one higher-level language (e.g., Python, C++, Go, etc.)

Experience in developing or using networking related software, frameworks and APIs

Experience developing, provisioning or understanding network device configuration for at least one major vendor or any Linux-based system

Working knowledge of ROADM, coherent transponders and long-haul operation optical networks

Experience with developing software in the context of building and/or operating large scale networking systems

Experience in project management and collaboration with cross-functional teams solving complex technical problems.

Working experience with cross-functional teams including Optical Engineering, Opto-Mechanical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Business development, Partnerships, Technical Programs Management and Legal.

Masters degree or equivalent experience in Physics, Optical Science, Electric Engineering, Materials Science, or similar.

5+ years of laboratory experience designing optical experiments and optical metrology.

3+ years of experience leading projects through full cycle from early-stage concept to mass-producible or commercialized product for consumer electronics industry.

Ph.D. degree or equivalent experience in Physics, Optical Science, Electric Engineering, Materials Science, or similar

Lead efforts and problem-solving during testing of flat panel displays across the range of luminance, chromaticity, NVIS compliance and artifact resolution

Perform modification of flat panel displays including LCD’s and OLED’s to enhance their basic performance

Perform NVIS compliance, luminance and chromaticity testing using a variety of test equipment including OL-770 or equivalent devices

Respond to semi-complex service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.
