Electro-Mechanical Technician Jobs

Location: Lewisville, Texas

Our exciting opportunity:

As a part of establishing a Smart Factory within the U.S., we are now looking for an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our Equipment Maintenance Team! This individual will provide general technical support for the factory site and install, maintain, and repair the SMA/SMT, Final Assembly, and Warehouse production equipment as needed.

You will:

• Coordinate and conduct preventive maintenance, involving SMA operators for preventive actions
• Ensure continuous process control and adjustment or assembling of device parameters
• Provide uninterrupted operation of equipment and machinery
• Be able to identify equipment and operational problems and fix faults on equipment and machines. Conduct analysis of faults and use knowledge for preventive maintenance decisions
• Monitor the availability of spare parts and materials in stock and if necessary, order new spare parts on time according to instructions
• Complete installation and calibration of equipment, monitoring the work and time to complete
• Be responsible for the installation of new equipment and supply connections (air, electricity, water) as needed

To be successful in the role, you must have:

• Ability to work overtime and/or flexible shift hours when required
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics and apply use of work instructions
• Compliance experience with ESD, Security, Occupational, Health, and Environmental safety requirements
• Self-motivation, committed to providing high-quality work
• Mechanical and metal fabrication experience is a plus
• Minimum 5 years of related technical experience in electrical/electronics, electro-mechanical, or industrial maintenance
• Experience working with the necessary documentation and computer programs
• Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and PLC ladder logic
• Experience with component repair and motor and sensor uninstall and reinstall
• Associates degree in electrical/electronics, electro-mechanical, or industrial maintenance preferred, or relevant experience

This role reports to the Technician Supervisor.
