As WellRight’s Associate People Specialist, you will be responsible for the success of the people function specifically in the areas of payroll, health and wellness, full-cycle recruiting and onboarding, performance management, compliance, and administration. The Associate People Specialist will strive to ensure exceptional service with a best-in-class mindset to the most vital part of the WellRight organization - its people. The candidate must be able to cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with the managers and the teams that they serve.


The successful candidate will be a self-starter and prides themselves in excelling in fast-paced environments while not sacrificing accuracy and compliance. The Associate People Specialist believes in equity and providing sound advice to become a trusted partner to WellRight employees. A go-getter, without compromising service, will foster trust and growth in this important role.


  • Champion the onboarding process, ensuring the process is up to date and of high quality, providing clarity and connection for all employees and candidates
  • Facilitate the annual performance management process; assisting managers with the development of clear performance and career goals to foster high performance
  • Serve as a collaborator and partner to the Vice President, People and Culture, ensuring that operations and initiatives align with WellRight’s vision and employee engagement results
  • Act as the subject matter expert with all People-related systems; participate in the evaluation of add-on services to enhance data insights
  • Execute and advise on employee policies and procedures and make recommendations on existing HR systems and processes
  • Continually facilitate internal changes to human resources-related workflows to ensure efficiency and optimal user experience
  • Independently own the People administrative function while bringing valuable insight, based on data and best practices to the People strategy at WellRight.
  • Partner with hiring managers' in the full-cyle recruitment process using WellRight’s systems and programs to automate and exceed Key Performance Indicator metrics


Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Human Resources, with a thorough understanding of HR best practices and have a thorough understanding of regulatory compliance.

  • Extensive knowledge of HR policies and systems such as Paylocity (HRIS), Benefits Administration, and Learning and Development portals; high proficiency in Google suite of services and permissions
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
  • HR certification preferred
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively; adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution
  • Exceptional communication, skills, interpersonal, and presentation skills, and an ethical mindset
  • Expert knowledge of multi-state labor and employment laws and practices
  • Knowledge and experience in organizational planning and development, recruitment, employee engagement, and development
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • 2-3 years of progressive HR experience, required
