Database administration responsibilities to include developing database schemas; performance tuning; user management; space management; database maintenance, and backup/recovery schedules

Principles, practices, and specialized methods for the use of GIS to perform automated mapping and facilities management

Technical certification in GIS, such as GISP® (Certified GIS Professional) or ESRI Technical Certification is desirable, but not required.

A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for up to one year of experience required.

Use GIS software to perform spatial analysis and display mapping information

Assist with migration, design, and maintenance of database systems

Program/project planning, development, and management methodologies

Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.

Relevant work experience may be substituted for degree on a year per year basis

Bachelor’s degree in Geography or Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or closely related field, or equivalent experience. Certifications a PLUS.

Ability to sustain project management tasks in coordination with client objectives and internal procedures.

1+ years of professional work experience in the field of GIS.

Working knowledge of ArcGIS online and associated mobile applications (FieldMaps, Survey123, etc.).

Working knowledge of standardized query language (SQL)

Working knowledge of Python or a high-level general-purposed programming language.

Coordinates GIS projects with users for deadline requirements

Completes GIS data entry, data validation and performs maintenance of current GIS databases

Stays knowledgeable about state of the art and the latest GIS technologies available

Four (4) years of experience in a spatial data creation/maintenance environment

Python, JavaScript, or other programming experience

Experience with 3D, Geostatistical, Network, and Spatial Analyst Tools

Thorough knowledge of the ESRI ecosystem (ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Online);

Knowledge of basic GIS concepts (mapping, GPS, GIS, data integration, coordinate systems, etc.);

Excellent analytical and reporting abilities;

Demonstrated excellence in written communication and presentation abilities

2+ years of professional experience working with GIS data and ESRI products;

2+ years of experience working in multi-discipline teams with proven ability to collaborate;

Performing geospatial data management, analysis and documentation, including designing geodatabases and schema

Maintaining familiarity with project documentation, regulatory requirement milestones and monitoring project progress against those requirements

Experience with open-source GIS software like QGIS along with the ArcMap ESRI suite

Creates and runs python/FME scripts to produce, analyze, and display data per internal and external client requirements.

Associate degree in GIS or related field and one to three years of experience in GIS database administration.

Uses ESRI ArcPro to develop, prepare, and maintain GIS data.

Locate Data essential to specific regions from various Fugro and external sources and create a geo-database and workflows.

Assist in integrating existing Fugro’s proprietary GIS data into an ESRI’s compatible databases and workflows.

Processes relevant geo-data (including error analyses and corrections) for internal and external use.

Experience: 6 years higher-level, directly related experience is fully qualifying for the 118 level.
