Gis Analyst Iii Jobs in California

Thorough knowledge of the ESRI ecosystem (ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Online);

Knowledge of basic GIS concepts (mapping, GPS, GIS, data integration, coordinate systems, etc.);

Excellent analytical and reporting abilities;

Demonstrated excellence in written communication and presentation abilities

2+ years of professional experience working with GIS data and ESRI products;

2+ years of experience working in multi-discipline teams with proven ability to collaborate;

Apply knowledge of ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Portal to train and develop solutions for field staff;

3+ years of experience working with ESRI ArcGIS software and extensions; Ideally in utilities and/or municipal work;

Demonstrated experience working with ArcGIS 10.x and ArcGIS Pro including desktop extensions (Spatial Analyst, 3d Analyst, etc.);

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Access;

Proven organization and problem solving skills;

Must be able to formulate and clearly communicate ideas to others, including those who have only a basic knowledge of GIS;

Oversee data compilation, analysis and reporting from credible sources, including public and private sources, as needed.

Develop charts, final documentation, and presentation materials as assigned.

Organize and conduct research into new data sources and/or policy issues as directed.

Monitor current events and economic policy developments in the region

Deliver written analyses as needed with minimal to no supervision

Design and implement research agendas from start to finish with input from other IAE members as needed
