Knowledge about nozzles used during laser cutting operation.

Monitor fill level of bulk tank system and report reordering levels to the supervisor.

Perform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures

Stage raw materials at work center for day’s production

Load and unload machine with correct sheet sizes and label parts with correct part numbers

Report all equipment deficiencies to supervisor

Perform operator-level maintenance and cleaning of cutting equipment and work area in accordance with company standards and manufacture’s machine recommendations

Excellent time management skills to work within tight deadlines and complete tasks in the most efficient way.

Perform other related duties as assigned by plant management

Strong Design Skills, Marketing, Communication Design, or related concentration

Analytical skills to monitor work processes and inspect various types of rolls

Must possess successful problem solving skills

Program computerized machines to produce quality engraved rolls

Comply with all departmental processes and procedures to include OSHA, ISO, EPA, and other corporate requirements as specified

Minimum one-year TRUMPF, Mazak, or similar fiber laser operator experience or previous experience in an industrial/ manufacturing environment is required.

Knowledge of TRUMPF software and/or AutoCAD

Ability to use basic measuring tools to verify drawing requirements

Sort, organize and separate parts following production orders, drawings, setup plan.

At least 2 years of work-related experience, (working in a manufacturing / production work environment, or machine shop).

Test and adjust machine speeds or actions, according to product specifications, using gauges, hand tools or machine controls.

Measure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates, or rulers.

Able read and interpret work instructions, blue prints, manufacturing drawings or similar information.

Ability to apply basic electronics and mathematical knowledge to establish optimal trim routines as they relate to customer requirements.

Proven electronics ability either through and Electronics degree, related courses or related experience.

Salary dependent upon experience: $75k – $150k

BSME + several years of CO2 Refrigeration design/build experience

Professional Engineer certification (or progress towards PE or EIT)

Working knowledge of and technical expertise in CO2 refrigeration, fluid flow, heat transfer, etc.

Must obtain forklift certification within 3 months (on-the-job training provided).

Strong mathematical skills; decimals, fractions, and inch calculations.

Ensure all parts are produced on time and are of good quality.

Assist in all operations of Laser Department (banding, bundling, cutting, drawing, and painting of parts).

· Uses pallet jack or hoist to position material or containers

Pay: $16.50 - $17.25 per hour

High School Diploma; up to 3 years related experience in job function and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience

Prior CNC operator experience helpful.

Basic Computer Skills - able to learn new screens, reports, functions and simple software programs with assistance.

Perform setups and operations using Fiber and/or YAG CNC lasers on production hardware.

May train others on part set-up and run.

One year experience performing Set Up functions in metal fabrication.

Set up and operate equipment to manufacture the highest quality parts, while maintaining production standards and safety precautions, using assigned equipment.

Operate 3-axis and/or fiber optic lasers.

Strip and stack finished parts.

Responsible for the quality of the parts produced.

Follow all rules regarding machine operation and machine guarding.

Responsible for laser scale/burr removal on low quantity parts.

Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality and safety.

Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.

Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts.
