Job Description
The WesternU MTM call center patient advocate will be responsible for calling patients regarding medication adherence such as 90-day fills, no refills, PDC challenges, and concerns regarding newly started medications.
The patient advocate will be assigned patients from the MTM call center team.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Be a licensed pharmacist or a recent grad from the class of 2022 with an active intern license.
  • Willingness to work and learn in a team environment
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • Have a good clinical understanding of chronic diseases such as hyperlipidemia, diabetes, and hypertension

  • Document successful calls within Practice Fusion EHR
  • Sign off on one’s own documented calls within Practice Fusion
  • Document call success rates and escalations within the provided excel template
