WAREHOUSE MANAGER NEEDED!

45 hours, Monday-Saturday availability (8:00AM-5:00PM)

At The Killer Brownie® Co., the warehouse is a vital part of keeping our operations running smoothly, and as the Warehouse Manager, you'll oversee the warehouse and warehouse team. You'll work closely with the Truck Driver to manage, plan, and coordinate the inbound/outbound receiving schedule and monitor your team's workload and day-to-day activities. Your keen organizational skills will support the Production team, ensuring they have the raw materials necessary to produce and fulfill orders for the day. Ultimately, you'll be the pillar of our operations, monitoring inventory and providing fresh ingredients for a full day of brownie-baking!

What you'll do:

·Oversee the workload, deadlines, and day-to-day activities of the Truck Driver and Warehouse team

·Stage finished goods pallets for outgoing shipments

·Manage, plan, and coordinate, inbound/outbound receiving schedules

·Manage the shipments to and from offsite long-term storage

·Manage the truck credit cards and complete monthly reconciliation

·Manage the daily schedule, functions, and programs to support the company trucks

·Manage the picking of ingredients and supplies for staging to support Production and Packaging

·Manage, develop, and train the Warehouse team

·Manage and administer team and delivery schedules to effectively to drive success

·Manage, train, and coach team members on WMS NetSuite Entry and communicate any issues Mentor and coach team members

·Plan and monitor appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime

·Build and implement a training program for new and existing team members

·Provide the team with feedback on their strengths and weaknesses, and conduct team reviews

·Observe others operating all equipment with a “safety first” mentality, correcting behaviors when needed

·Ensure all team members and equipment training is complete and up to date

·Ensure goods received match goods ordered

·Ensure daily SQF documentation is completed correctly

·Ensure daily NetSuite tasks are completed correctly

·Create Bill of Ladings and communicate shipment to the Planning department

·Work with the Production teams daily to ensure proper materials are on hand for the day’s schedule, and possible changes in schedule

·Work closely with the Director of Plant Operations, Production and Packaging Managers, and Sales team to fill orders correctly and on time

·Work closely with the Planning Manager and team to understand inbound and outbound shipments

·Determine proper method for storing and identifying ingredients, and location based on turnover

·Protect company assets through conditions, returns, discrepancies, inventory, and staging

·Maintain physical condition of the warehouse, including inspecting equipment and issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement

·Keep all departments in good repair, orderly and clean

·Assist in the upkeep of the Maintenance department

·Assist the Warehouse team in accomplishing tasks when needed

·Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts, as well as overseeing and participating in quarterly inventory audits

·Monitor and manage inventory on hand, ensuring sufficient, but not excessive, available inventory levels are met

·Give recommendations on near to expiration and low moving items

·Perform other duties as assigned or requested by management

Requirements:

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·Knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

·Able to lift up to 60lbs and assist with warehouse operations
