We are seeking a Distribution Supervisor for our Echo Incorporated Division in Lake Zurich, IL. Our new Supervisor must have that "roll up your sleeves and get the job done" mentality, while providing exemplary leadership and support to our distribution team at our off-site location.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Responsible for receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and integrity.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse and offices by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement, oversee the cleaning crew and work with outside vendors for facility upkeep such as landscaping, HVAC, etc.
• Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Works with corporate plant recruiter on selecting warehouse staff.
• Maintains job results by training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Supervise various warehouse personnel including forklift drivers, material handlers, and pickers and packers.
• Schedule and oversee warehouse team to meet the demands of the fulfillment center and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.

Job Experience/Skills:

• Leadership skills and ability supervise staff.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel.
• Expertise in warehouse procedures and best practices.
• 5+ years of distribution/warehouse experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.

Education: High School Diploma or GED
