We are looking to hire a Site Manager – Newark, CA

This is just a high-level overview of the role we need you to fill for us

The Site Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the manufacturing facility including EH&S, Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Logistics. The Site Manager must ensure that quality product is made with a focus on safety, environmental compliance, and efficiency.

These skills and experiences will make you a good fit for this role

• Must possess excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office suite). SAP highly desirable
• Experience in preparing detailed cost benefit analysis reports to support project requests is desirable.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is preferred.
• Ability to analyze and problem solve.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• 3+ years’ experience with hands-on supervisory experience in Operations and/or Plant Engineering/Maintenance support.
• Must have a strong working knowledge of Ecology/Health/Safety procedures and standards including Process Safety Management regulations, OSHA standards, EPA regulations, National Fire Code regulations.
• Detail oriented.
• Provide continuous improvement leadership to improve in house capabilities, yields and efficiency.
• Proven leadership qualities with strong interpersonal communication skills. Self-driven and able to generate strong results with minimal supervision, in a team-based environment.
• Must possess a strong technical/problem solving aptitude to solve complex problems by identifying and enrolling appropriate resources.
• Experience working in a union environment is desirable.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Hands on Lean manufacturing experience highly desirable.
• Strong work ethic with ability to perform a wide range of tasks with minimal supervision.
