Warehouse Manager Jobs

Description: The Warehouse Manager will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding

servicing and dispatching a wide variety of products. Ultimately the manager should be able to

ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running

smoothly and promptly.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security.
• Oversee receiving, shipping, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
• Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock reports, etc.)
• Manage stock control and reconcile with the data storage system.
• Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.
• Plan work routes, assign tasks appropriately, and appraise results.
• Recruit, select, orient, coach, and motivate employees.
• Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.
• Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Cycle counting/order checking.
• Leadership skills and ability to manage staff.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
• Proven work experience as a warehouse manager.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Experience: Preferred 1-2 years of related distribution experience; DSD experience is

preferred.

• Must be computer literate and have knowledge of spreadsheets.

Job Type: Full-time, $20.00 per hour

• San Diego, CA
• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM
