Warehouse Logistics Manager Jobs

ALEXISis a high-end women’s ready to wear business that sells to major department stores such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman and Intermix as well as over 250 specialty boutiques around the world.

We are seeking Warehouse/Logistics Manager to oversee the operations of our warehouse and logistics department. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing warehouse and logistics operations in a fast-paced retail environment. This position is responsible for the efficient and effective management of all warehouse and logistics activities, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.

This position will report to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and train warehouse staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
• Coordinate and schedule and delivery of goods to our own store, as well as our other clients.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales, Production, Store and E-Commerce, to ensure seamless coordination of warehouse and logistics activities
• Monitor inventory levels and restock as necessary to ensure that there is always enough stock on hand to meet customer demand.
• Manage and supervise the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods to clients, both in-store and online, by monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators for logistics operations
• Manage the order fulfillment process for the e-commerce website, including processing orders, coordinating with the E-Commerce team, and ensuring timely shipping.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (mainly UPS) and transportation providers to ensure the most cost-effective and efficient delivery of goods.
• Ensure the warehouse operations are running effectively by monitoring and improving logistics processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize warehouse and logistics operations and ensure compliance with all safety and security regulations.

Qualifications:

• Ability to use warehouse management systems, inventory management software, and other relevant technology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience managing warehouse and logistics operations in a retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
• Familiarity with transportation and logistics regulations and compliance requirements.
• A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
