The Logistics Manager will be responsible for the overall supply chain management. The goal is to manage the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the flow of goods in and out between different channels and internal PCS warehouse; including, but not limited to all logistics functions, warehousing, distribution, shipping/receiving, order management, and inventory management.
  • Monitor import/export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory/legal requirements.
  • Negotiate shipping contracts and best fees for different PCS regions.
  • Allocate resources based on upcoming inbound and outbound activities with a clear focus of delivering world class customer service.
  • Provide motivation, support, and guidance to all employees.
  • Monitor all claims and missing stock in transit when required.
  • Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines.
  • Communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management while working to resolve.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to accomplish organizational goals.
  • Establish workflow policies and processes that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product quality, safety, or integrity.
  • Create and sustain KPI for the logistics area: monitoring cost, on time shipments accuracy, Claims and missing stock in transit.
  • Oversee and put in place controls to ensure the correct customs taxes.
  • Communicate with various company personnel at all levels to provide and receive information, resolve questions/issues and coordinate activities.
  • Train staff as well as monitor their performance and progress.
  • Validate shipping invoices payments.
  • Optimize facility utilization to ensure maximum efficiencies and labor effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Inventory Management
  • Proven track record of successfully training employees in productivity and delivery
  • Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as in a group setting
  • Team focused with an ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of Safety Regulations
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma an advantage
  • Excellent people and project management skills
  • Computer and technology literate, MS Office
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • 5+ years' experience in logistics


Work Conditions and Physical Demands:

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is occasionally required to:

  • Lift and/or move up to 35 lbs.
  • Repetitive use of hands/fingers/wrist to handle electronic devices or tools.
  • Reach with hands or arms, bend, crouch.
  • Walk or stand for long period of hours.
  • Remain in a stationary position for long periods of hours.
