Job Description
VP: BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. seeks VP, US Leveraged Finance, Bank Loans in NY, NY to work alongside sr portfolio mgrs responsible for $20bn+ of AUM, w/emphasis on open end funds, closed end funds, & other unconstrained mandates. Req's: Master's or equiv in Finance, Econ., Bus., or rel. field & 4 yrs of exp in job offered or rel. occupation: coding in R & Python; utilizing stats to do research into new factor models & to apply factor models in new ways to increase understanding of risk & return in portfolios; utilizing factor models to estimate portfolio risk & calculate performance attribution; anlyzg US & global corp. credit mrkts; & assessing portfolio's positions & its risk metrics & anlyzg key risks to determine whether risks are appropriate given portfolio's mandate. In alternative, employer will accept Bachelor's or equiv in one of above listed fields & 6 yrs of exp in above listed skills. Salary range: $161,429/yr to $205,000/yr.
