A VP, Production acts as an integral member of the KCD Worldwide Creative Group division and its global clients to provide a highly professional and innovative perspective on client services. The ideal candidate has the diversified skillset to compliment the departmental goals and the agency as a whole. They must have the capacity to instill trust in clients and have strong relationships with a wide range of fashion industry leaders and peers, as well as high level vendor contacts, and relationships within the events industry. They should demonstrate strong problem-solving instincts while considering sustainability in their process. Additionally, a VP, Production must have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage an internal team while managing external vendors. The ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with extensive budgeting and negotiating skills is a must. They should also have a deep respect and appreciation for big picture ideas and have the experience and sensibility to navigate the process of delivery. The candidate should have the motivation to consistently attune themselves and the department to relevant resources, trends, ideas, and cultural influences. They must also have the appropriate comportment and experience to serve as an exceptional brand ambassador for both KCD and its clients.
Agency Responsibilities:
·Reports to EVP, Global Creative Group
·Uphold and promote Agency brand and client ideals within industry.
·Demonstrate extensive and high-level strategic ability to work with client, provide solutions, interpret/create vision for project, and implement flawless execution.
·Lead New Business brainstorming and business development for NY Creative Group
·Brainstorm opportunities and business development for Paris based Creative Group
·Financial accountability for NY Creative Group
·Work collaboratively to promote seamless communication and partnerships within the Agency.
·Serve as an Agency ambassador, utilizing entrepreneurial personality to assess needs and develop/cultivate relationships within the industry to grow client base and expand agency reach.
·Foster and cultivate Client, industry & vendor relationships on behalf of the agency.
·Lead NY Creative Group Production team development, goals, and education
·Responsible for NY Creative Group output quality control
·Oversee and manage NY Creative Group staffing and structure with support from Operations Director
·Consult on Paris-based Creative Group staffing, structure, and timelines.
Management Responsibilities:
·Manage and train department of EP’s, Technical Directors, Producers, Managers, and freelancers.
·Lead a collaborative team comprised of both internal and external entities with a hands-on approach.
·Work with clients, understand their needs, and lead the production process in pitching creative and new ideas.
·Understand the client’s image, ideals, and goals in order to execute at the highest level.
·Provide vision and knowledge in the concept development phase of projects.
·Manage team to deliver end-to-end projects with finesse in all areas including:
oSite research, set design, set development and management.
oVendormanagement,negotiation,communication,andlogisticalexpertise
oTechnical production, development, andmanagement
oBudget development, negotiation, management,and training
oSOW and contract development, negotiation with client andmanagement
oCreative talent sourcing and recommendations
·Cultivate vendor relationships.
·Create internal systems and best communication & management between Creative Group, Finance and legal.
·Create and manage best working systems with other KCD divisions and promote collaboration and synergies with media, digital & guest experience groups.
·Research and update options for new, relevant resources
·Manage day to day and onsite project infrastructure and operations.
Qualifications:
·Strong knowledge of the fashion industry is a MUST.
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·Proactive mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
·Team player who can collaborate with coworkers and clients at all levels.
·Ability to deliver results under tight deadlines.
·Keen eye for detail
·Willingness to learn.
Requirements:
·15+ years of relevant experience
·Confidence to interact with clients and manage team.
·Possess strong management skills, ability to work in collaborative team environment, actively engage both colleagues and clients in open communication, and ability to lead a team while continually motivating and inspiring innovation.
·Exemplary time management skills, ability to multitask, intelligent analysis of dynamics across variable and concurrent clientprojects, ability to work well under pressure.
·Strategic and logistical thinker with the ability to approach situations from a solution-based frame of mind.
·Insightful and comprehensive verbal and written communication skills
·Desire to push oneself to continually learn, expand skill base and industry.

Technical Skills:
·Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
·Experience using creative software of Adobe Creative Suite
·Working knowledge and/or proficiency of CAD/Vector Worx and or other technical design software
