Detailed Responsibilities and Requirements


This Creative Leader will partner with the Global Packaging, Copy, Creative and VM leads to ensure 360 impactful storytelling from digital to in-store consumer experiences; at retail as well as launch events. This leader is responsible for connected, consistent omni-channel execution.


Ideal candidates have Global Beauty experience, strategic, connect-the-dots thinking and a keen knowledge of beauty and cultural trends.


The VP, Creative Strategy, Omni-channel is responsible for building launch storytelling with consistency while being nuanced for the needs of each channel, across all e.l.f. Beauty brands—e.l.f., e.l.f. SKIN, W3LL People, and Keys Soulcare. You will collaborate closely within the creative team, as well as with cross-functional teams—including Brand, Consumer Insights, Product Marketing and Visual Merchandising—to develop creative strategies informing campaign concepts. You will work closely with the VM team on pitch concepts and scale our brands at retailers in the US and Internationally.


You will work closely with the package design team to ensure outstanding exectution at shelf. You will partner with the Creative Director and Editorial Director leaders to develop all concepts for campaigns and review concepts with the Chief Creative Officer. In this role, you will lead and manage the life cycle of all product launches, from the initial concept to omni-channel execution.


Skills


  • Ability to meet deadlines, quickly managing changing priorities within timeframe and budget
  • Global beauty experience scaling brands internationally
  • Deep knowledge of beauty; skincare and makeup products, ingredients, usage and trends
  • Ability to expand launch concepts to 360 storytelling with a focus on Visual Merchandising concepts
  • Outstanding partnership mentality and communication skills; ability to give quick, clear directional feedback
  • Excellent knowledge of cultural/ beauty trends and partnership with Insights to build creative strategy


Requirements


  • 15+ years of creative/brand experience (preferably in beauty, and/or retail)
  • 10+ years in a creative leadership role, managing people and processes
  • Working in a project management tools (ie Wrike, ISM/portals)
  • General knowledge of computer programs including: InDesign, Excel, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative manner
  • Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.
  • 15+ years experience in a high volume, deadline-driven environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience working cross-functionally with different teams across an organization
