NETWORK OPERATIONS ENGINEER

The NOC team manages the monitoring of vulnerability scanning, ongoing security audits and compliance that assist in the process of satisfying all the PCI DSS requirements. As a NOC Engineer I, you will be responsible for monitoring our end clients’ network to ensure compliance.

About this roll* (Responsibilities)

• Exercise ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge. Strives for constant improvement and development.
• Respond to and resolve automated alerts generated from our monitoring system in a timely fashion.
• Provide Tier 1 Networking support to meet PCI Compliance requirements.
• Perform incident resolution tasks based on approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Escalate alerts as needed that require higher level support.
• Resolves network issues detected by monitoring and/or received via trouble ticket or incident notifications using data from monitoring tools and packet analysis and provides detailed notes on triage efforts for trouble tickets and incidents.
• Responsible for remote monitoring of critical customer network infrastructure, analyzing alerts and troubleshooting incidents.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

Minimum of 1 year experience in computer and network management is required

• Ability to provide and maintain detailed documentation in each ticket.
• Experience in managing end client networks.
• Familiarity with GSuite, Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Splunk a plus.
• Knowledge in basic networking configurations and routing protocols.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent listening and communications skills, both verbal and written.
• CompTIA Network+ certification obtained within 1yr of onboarding.
• Organized, detail oriented and self-motivated.
• Hands-on experience with entry level troubleshooting of Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti Unifi.

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.

Pay Range

$52,000—$83,000 USD
