Network Operations Manager

Location: Remote + Local for onsite meeting (Washington DC)

Client: DOL

Visa: USC GC

Rate: $ 50 - $ 55 /hr W2

Duration: Long Term Role

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the direct team members and manage and maintain contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer-s organization.
• Establish and maintain technical reports to show progress of projects to management and customers, organize and assign responsibilities to subordinates, oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks, and take the initiative and provide support to marketing personnel in identifying and acquiring potential business.
• Consult with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules and costs and contractual obligations.

Required Skills

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, Business or related discipline. The Contractor may substitute a minimum of 4 years work experience for Bachelor degree requirements
• Ticket Queue Management (Change Requests, Incidents, Problems, Service Tasks). Preferably with ServiceNow.
• Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident due to government requirement.
• Certification in at least ITIL v3 Foundations certification is preferred.
• Must have Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
• Certification in Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) is preferred.

Required Experience

• Experience organizing, directing, and managing contract operation support functions for multiple, complex, and inter-related IT projects with a combined scope of over 10,000 users and 50 sites.
• At least 10 years of experience implementing large-scaled projects/systems.
• Experience maintaining and managing client interface at senior levels of the client organization.
• A broad knowledge of unified communications, network, and telecommunications.
• Experience managing teams of contract support personnel at multiple locations.
• At least 10 years of related local area network/wide area network (LAN/WAN) work experience.
• Meets with customer and Contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items. Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs.
