Job Description

Our client is a market leading, global Medical Device organisation whose core focus is to improve the quality of patient care through innovation and precision technology. Due to continued growth, we are supporting them in the search for a Vice President - Global Complaint Management. This role will be responsible for developing and implementation of business strategies to effectively manage all product complaints related to our client on a global basis. They will manage the global complaint organization and Process in all global locations and have management responsibility for the collecting, investigating, reporting and trending product complaints for all entities.

Duties include:

  • Provide data to those internal organizations that require it to meet those organizations Quality Management System requirements for Management Reviews or other ad hoc requests
  • Lead the organization that will represent the company in Regulatory (global) Body inspections as they relate to product complaint management
  • Ensure the proper execution of the global product complaint process
  • Act as global SME as it relates to all things “Product Complaint Management”
  • Ensure the proper management of the global product complaint organization
  • Serve as senior member of the Global Customer Quality staff
  • Lead the development of the future state of the global complain process and organization
  • Act as the most responsible global executive when it comes to communicating with Regulatory Authorities as those communications relate to Product Complaint management
  • Manage the relationship with IT as it relates to the collection and processing of product complaints
  • Manage the global complaint functions Budget and Headcount



Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in a Medical or applied science discipline (e.g., Nursing, Chemistry, Engineering).
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to manage a complex global medical device organization.
  • Ability to manage complexity, analytical, people management on a global basis
  • Minimum 10 years leading a global organization in medical devices at the Director Level or higher.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with regulators (e.g., FDA).
  • Ability to communicate with regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to manage a complex global budget.
  • Ability to work well with Corporate Quality Team.
  • Ability to develop and manage a Global Complaint Strategy.
  • Ability to manage internal relationships.
