Primary Services is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our client's team. Our client is a leading energy company dedicated to delivering superior products and services to their valued customers. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Account Coordinator.
As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing superior support and service to our customers, both internal and external. You will be responsible for effectively managing sales orders within our SAP system, ensuring a seamless supply chain process from logistics to inventory reconciliation. Your attention to detail and commitment to timely and accurate order delivery will contribute to maximizing our net return and customer satisfaction.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Perform root cause analysis for complaints and propose corrective actions for management review.
- Process credit and debit memos and prepare summary billed invoices.
- Conduct detailed analysis and provide recommendations, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Process sales orders within SAP, including order entry, availability checks, quota checks, credit checks, removal of delivery blocks, delivery note processing, batch selection process, shipping, goods issuing, and invoicing.
- Maintain accurate customer files and provide complete, accurate, and timely feedback to customers while safeguarding proprietary information.
- Adhere to related export and domestic laws and regulations.
- Comply with all site safety policies and practices, demonstrating safety as a core value.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, such as customers, sales personnel, management, credit, technical service, plant shipping, logistics, demand planning, third-party warehouses/distribution centers, and pricing coordinators.
- Coordinate shipping information with Canadian brokers for shipments bound to Canada, ensuring smooth passage of goods across the Canadian border.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business or Supply Chain.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, conduct detailed analysis, and provide recommendations.
- Knowledge of related export and domestic laws and regulations.
