Summary of the role but also what our team are up to:
As VP - Destinations & Partnership Development, North America you will be leading the attraction portfolio strategy for the region, ensuring the pass product market fit in all the North America cities, balancing the need for profitability and attractiveness for the customers and driving growth for the region through ongoing analysis and partnership efforts and managing the regional destination directors across Northen US. The successful candidate will be responsible for also identifying, developing, and executing new initiatives in existing markets as well assessing new markets potential for 2024 launches and beyond.
What will you be responsible for /helping us to do?
- Maintain a full understanding of the North America P&L through ongoing analysis; raising any red flags that pose a risk to the business and implement solutions to mitigate these risks.
- Lead a team of destination in market professionals; provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship so they have the tools to drive pass sales, onboard new attractions and experience and manage partner's rates to meet performance targets.
- Develop business cases for development or improvement of Go City product(s) in North America to increase profitability for the business and/or improve the customer or partner journey and satisfaction.
- Identify new destinations, and develop the product/market fit strategy to support the business in building incremental growth initiatives
- Ensure all rates, inventory and content are consistently optimized on the Go City platform to maximize customer conversion and Go City profitability across the region. Support your team in securing competitive rates and inventory.
- Champion new technologies and innovative partnerships to remain competitive in the digital landscape.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Sales, Operations, Connectivity and Product, to develop and execute plans that support the company's growth objectives.
- Build and manage relationships with key local partners including the c-suite level executives and business owners of top attractions.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to ensure the company is well positioned to succeed in the marketplace.

What skills do you have that are essential in this role/ Who are you?
- Strong pre-existing relationships with the key stakeholders in the tourism market in Noryh America with an in depth understanding of the attractions market.
- Experienced leader in building, managing, and retaining highly motivated teams across multiple regions.
- Outstanding understanding of the P&L and business models and pricing scenarios with a passion for success and proven expertise in business development and contract negotiation.
- Analytical / strategic thinker, creative problem solver, resourceful, able to initiate change and motivate innovation and creativity.
- Excellent negotiating skills and experience closing strategic deals with key partners in different regions.
- Circa 7 years' experience in the travel partnerships or sales industry or similar role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful partnerships and initiatives and understanding of the business culture and market differences across multiple regions.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, interpersonal and communication skills as well as Influencing skills and ability to adapt and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, JIRA, and/or Tableau would be an advantage
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively, positively and respectfully in a cross-functional environment thriving on data analysis.
- Able to take and deliver constructive feedback and act accordingly.
- An individual known to exhibit enthusiasm, integrity and willingness to "roll up their sleeves" to get the job done. Flexible attitude, and results driven.
