Vice President - Secondaries Advisory

Our client, a leading independent US Investment looking to add an additional VP into their Private Funds Group in NY to work in their Secondaries Advisory team

This larger Group provides capital raising and secondaries advisory services to both General Partners and Limited Partners.

Specifically looking for an VP who will be responsible to:

• As a VP in the team, you will have responsibilities across the transaction process: from origination and execution through to project management and client relationship maintenance and development

• Assist in producing the business pipeline

• Assist in performing due diligence on prospective GP relationships including producing and disseminating meeting notes

•Proactively supporting the team's MD and Directors

•Creating and coordinating the creation of financial models and business valuations

The ideal candidate will have a background as follows:

• Ideally experience at the VP level, 5-8 experience years would be ideal

• Applied knowledge and/or experience of private equity and secondaries advisory/ secondaries buy-side

• Strong skills in financial modelling

• Applied knowledge of corporate finance and business valuation and modelling

• Working knowledge of PE legal and regulatory frameworks

• Good interpersonal skills

• Excellent communicator, both orally and in written materials; articulate negotiator with strong organisational and project management skills

• Hardworking, entrepreneurial, and proactive
