Location: Remote - Western United States


About The Position


In this role, you will lead the Americas Western Sales organization, drive effective sales strategies and be responsible for the overall success of the West Sales team. The right person for this job will enjoy developing a team, creating a regional go to market and coverage strategy, promoting BlueVoyant Services and, of course, executing against revenue targets. This job requires someone with excellent interpersonal and persuasive skills that is passionate about cybersecurity solutions and a natural leader.


You will manage a team of Enterprise Client Executives including a new Client Associate role that we created to develop and mentor into future Client Executives. As a Sales leader, you will support growth and sales strategy development involving field sellers, sales engineers, channel account executives and business development representatives. You will work closely with Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, Product Management, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Client Experience, and Business Development to execute the sales strategy.


A successful candidate will be hands-on in driving the pipeline and revenue growth, maximizing profits, expanding the customer base, penetrating new markets, maintaining a culture of success and goal achievement. This position reports to David Carlson, SVP of Americas Sales.


Responsibilities


  • Cross-sell into the customer base
  • Continuously improve tools, technology, and processes to optimize effectiveness
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • Use best practices to hire the right people, onboard and provide consistent orientation and
  • Influence peers and decisions makers from other operational functions to enhance and continously improve processes and systems to meet team objectives and partner needs
  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships
  • Lead the execution of all strategic and tactical plans to achieve growth potential and optimal business goals in you assigned region(s)
  • Team and other company functions
  • Assist in the creation and oversight of the team’s sales compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets
  • Identify resources needed for the team to achieve organizational performance goals
  • Development and execution of sales plans and strategies in support of achieving the company’s revenue goals
  • Ensure department/team budget stays allocated and aligned with targets
  • Develop and support strategic partnerships and channels to continuously improve our business and optimize the growth potential
  • Work closely with the marketing function to establish effective programs
  • Provide direction and hold staff accountable for ongoing growth
  • Work closely with client success team to achieve renewal objectives and continue to upsell and
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership
  • Lead the team to implement and execute go to market strategy
  • Responsible for developing team performance metrics, tracking and the review cadence for each member of the team
  • Accurate and detailed sales forecast
  • Continuous growth and development at all levels to enable achievement of team objectives
  • Responsible for your assigned territory sales analytics and reporting cadence, including an

Experience


  • Managed Security Services
  • Experience successfully selling cyber security solutions, preferably with experience selling
  • Sales and management career focused on the United States, preferably in the western US
  • Experience utilizing a CRM to manage team sales tasks, pipeline, and closing data
  • Experience in B2B channel-based cyber security sales
  • 10+ years of account management experience with a focus on pipeline growth, expansion and
  • Demonstrable experience managing to sales frameworks (e.g. MEDDIC, MEDDPICC)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Exceeding sales targets
  • 5+ years of professional management experience
  • Experience with both field and inside sales organizations
