Job Summary:
As the Senior Assistant Vice President of Sales, your primary responsibility will be executing strategies to acquire new clients and expand the portfolio. You will play a vital role in managing existing client relationships and facilitating account set-up. Your main goal is to achieve the assigned annual revenue quota from new clients while actively managing named accounts and revenue targets.
General Sales Process Responsibilities:
- Customize sales presentations and demonstrate products as needed.
- Maintain timely forecasting, internal reporting, and utilize Sales Force effectively.
- Proactively prospect and develop relationships with new prospects to drive business development.
- Conduct sales presentations both in-person and virtually.
- Qualify leads and opportunities to maximize sales potential.
- Showcase how our solutions align with clients' objectives and contribute to their success.
- Collaborate with the team to propose and win new business.
Daily Activities:
- Foster strong relationships and alliances with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional client service.
- Handle multiple accounts simultaneously and work with the Prospective/New Client Team to achieve growth and profitability targets.
- Demonstrate patience and adaptability in understanding and meeting customer needs.
- Participate in client visits, industry events, trade shows, conferences, and marketing events.
- Work with other team members and leaders to grow the overall portfolio.
- Develop tailored sales plans for named accounts to maintain and increase sales volume.
- Drive growth through new account penetration, referrals, and direct sales efforts.
- Identify opportunities to expand revenue by offering additional products to existing customers.
- Translate clients' strategic requirements into solutions for improved business outcomes.
- Provide relevant information and resources to prospective customers to serve as a valuable resource.
- Develop and execute new account plans, collaborating with Delivery teams to exceed client expectations.
- Stay informed about industry and company developments and their financial impact.
- Target new clients to sell full range of services.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Broad functional knowledge within the Payer (Health Insurance) industry, connecting with executive-level stakeholders.
- Strong consultative sales process and operational skills, including pipeline management and forecasting.
- Proven experience in mining long-term complex multimillion-dollar accounts and acquiring new ones.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills, especially at the C-level.
- Forward-thinking and innovative mindset focused on addressing short-term and long-term business challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural, global environment.
- Strategic thinking and ability to create a consultative and solution-minded sales environment.

Education & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in solution-consultative sales and account management.
- 5+ years of experience in the Payer (Health Insurance) industry.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (graduate degree preferred).

Base Salary Range Disclaimer: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Client's salary range for this position. The base salary is just one component of total compensation package, which may include bonuses and paid time off benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off (3 weeks, 10 days of sick leave, and 10 holidays), and yearly increases (March annually).
Salary Expectations: $165,000 - $185,000
