Job Description

Job Title: Chief Commercial Officer (Food Testing) - Remote


Location: Remote (Based in Missouri, USA)

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Chief Commercial Officer with expertise in the Food Testing industry to join our dynamic team. As the Chief Commercial Officer, you will play a key role in driving the growth and success of our organization by leading and executing strategic initiatives related to business development, sales, and client relationship management. This is a remote position based in Missouri, USA, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home office.


Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy for the Food Testing sector, aligning it with the company's overall business objectives and revenue targets.
  2. Lead the business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and expanding the customer base.
  3. Drive revenue growth by effectively managing the sales team, setting sales targets, and implementing sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  4. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  5. Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.
  6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, operations, and product development teams, to ensure effective communication and alignment of commercial strategies with overall company goals.
  7. Analyze sales data and market trends to generate insights and recommendations for optimizing pricing, product positioning, and market penetration strategies.
  8. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the commercial team, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
  9. Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and client meetings to enhance the company's brand presence and generate new business leads.


Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a high-performing commercial team.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth and achieving revenue targets.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role within the Food Testing industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory environment and quality standards in the food testing sector.


Salary: The salary for the Chief Commercial Officer position will be competitive and commensurate with experience, ranging from $150,000 to $200,000 per year. Additional benefits, such as performance bonuses and stock options, may be provided as part of the compensation package.
